Research into Transcranial Magnetic Stimultion (TMS) as a treatment for various disorders such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) at the Maudsley Hospital London have proven disappointing and the treatment is no longer viewed as a viable alternative for Electro-Convulsive Therapy (ECT).
