A sedative/hypnotic, Zalepon is marketed for the treatment of insomnia. Unfortunately, the drug is addictive and as such, if on were to stop the medication after a prolonged period, withdrawal symptoms may present themselves. On top of this, Zaleplon has a high capacity for abuse. Be warned: this drug has been shown to cause cancer in some patients.
